[TR] FW: rover engine

We just picked up a car with this Rover engine.



Our next step is to thoroughly clean the bottom and try to discover the source of an oil leak



I know TR engines have "the usual places" for oil leaks.   Is that the same for Rover engines?  This is a whole new area for me.



We think it is a Range Rover/Discovery efi auto 9.35:1 from 1988 onwards according to this:  https://rimmerbros.com/c/Rover-V8-Engine-Numbers



It is hooked up to a Muncie 4 speed and has a carburetor sitting on top so its not fuel injection.
