These pads are not for a TR6. Rimmers sells them for the 4/4A but they look
just like the ones that were in my wife's TR6 so that is what I planned to
use. Your suggestion in intriguing, I might just give it a try. Thanks.

Keith: since the bracket is so simple, have you thought of an L-shaped
bracket on each pad with multiple holes or a slot in each, such that you
adjust it to where you want to be and then tighten a bolt through them ?

I am not that familiar with the TR6, but one that I did have had exactly
that for the pads.

Subject: [TR] TR6 Kidney Pad Speaker Bracket

I have a pair of TR4A leather kidney pads for radio speakers similar to what
is used on the TR6. Since the kidney pads were not on the TR4A, I do not
have the hardware. Does anyone have the dimensions of the bracket that joins
the two pads, crossing over the transmission cover? Or, better yet, does
anyone have a bracket with which they would be willing to part? It seems the
bracket is no longer available. Thanks in advance for any assistance you
might provide.
