[TR] Is this symptom I'm getting indicative of a bad front wheel bearing?

I have a Stag and have checked and changed various components like bottom
ball joint and top shock mount, but am still experiencing a vibration,
through the steering wheel, from the left front wheel only when I'm
turning left. The car had been fitted with all new poly bushes.
There is no vibration going straight or when turning right.
I plan to swap the wheel with my spare, but can a bad bearing cause these
symptoms?
The hub rotates smoothly and there is no noise.
The TR6 uses a similar vertical link setup as the Stag. The hub
bearings are tapered.
