[TR] T3a Wheels and tires

My last TR3 I went to 6” minilites and stayed with the 165/15 Vredestein tires as recommended by Ted Schumacher.   Puts more rubber on ground without adding more weight.  Great handling!

We have a 59 TR3a.  we want to replace the wheels and tires with wider ones.  Has anyone done this?  what fits?  What doesn’t?  we do not want to modify the bodywork.
