[TR] TR3 door stud

 i have drilled out the hole to the same diameter as the hole in the steel.then i have glued a wood dowel into the hole.and you have a new piece of wood to screw into
make sense?

One the outside of the doors are studs that the bottom of the side curtains snap into.  These studs go through the metal door and into the wood frame inside the door.  This one is completely stripped and just falls out.  since its wood that the stud screws into, I was thinking plastic wood or something like that.  or JB weld.

TR3a, one of the door studs is loose.  Very loose.  This would be where the tonneau lift a dots snap in for the tonneau along the outside.
 
 
 
Jb weld?  Wood putty?  Glue?  What’s a good solution here?
