The idea of a DOT standard is interchangeable compatibility, isn't it? I'm sure I've mixed various brands of brake fluid within a DOT class over the years without a second thought. I haven't had to add or change DOT5 on my TR3B yet, but when I do I'll be sure to meet the standard and probably won't give a thought to who made the original fluid.
There are only so many companies basic in silicones anyway, so it's quite likely the same silicone oil in many producers' individual brands.

Hello,
I need to get some dot 5 brake fluid but the brand TRF sold is no longer
stocked.
Anyone have a source for Blue Magic Dot 5? Or an alternative?
Thanks,
Bob
