I have been to the park - my kids lived in South Bend for a while so up there often.

It is pretty cool - the tree letters are so big they have signs denoting which letter you are by.
From the air it is impressive, but from the ground it is kind of mind boggling.
There is still one of the old mansions on the property as well - but not open to the public.
