I find that the best tire for my 1959 TR3A and my 1966 TR4A are the Michelin XZX in size 165 SR 15. They look period correct, and fit the 4.5” wide wire wheels They are a very tight fit in my spare tire well in the TR3A, so I purchased a 4” wire wheel for a spare. This fits perfectly in the spare tire well. You can get the tires from Coker Tire.
