[TR] TR4-4A motor mounts

 The TR4A square motor mounts are the 'fail-safe' style so when rubber gives way at least the motor is a little more locked into frame (versus round style).. in any case I would not hesitate to add shims (big round or square washers) to get good fan extension clearance to steering rack.
Also, some 60's Volvos use slightly more robust round mounts..Regards,Carl

I have been using round mounts in my TR4A for years, but they're from some year BMW.  

Taller and bigger in diameter, if I recall correctly.  Seem to hold up well.

Maybe someone on the list will know what BMW they are from.
