Pretty clean assembly when you don’t use any sealers.  Good video, shows there really is nothing to be afraid of as long as you are careful.

When I restored my 63 4 I installed SU HS6 carbs. It came with regular H6s but I decided it was easier to get a set off of ebay than to send them out for rebuild. No problems for well over 15 years. Crankcase vent system same as my 3.
