I have one of these as well.  But they are MUCH more expensive than what you are looking at in the UK.

                I’ve had one of these for about 8 years and It has worked well for me.  When I got it it was through a group buying deal, but I think there are sales periodically.  The best part of these lifts is that they fold flat and can be stored on their side against  a wall in a space of about 5 inches wide by about 5 feet long. They lift to a hight of 26”, which allows comfortable working hight under the car.
