[TR] What is a typical cost to have a TR6 diff rebuilt here in USA?

Unless its really important to have the car 100% stock, don’t go there.  For not much more (and yes I know this is for a TR6) we put in a Nissan Q45 limited slip diff.  www.goodparts.com <http://www.goodparts.com>  has all the info and goodies.  The stag and TR6 drivetrains are pretty similar.  

 

10 years ago?  I think it was around $700 plus here in Texas.  California will obviously be more.

WIth the no. of British car specialists retiring, what is a typical cost to have a diff rebuilt with new bearings and crown wheel and pinion?

 

I have  a Stag, but the diff is similar to that of a TR6.
