I just did a TR2 front conversion from steel wheels to wire wheels. Looked easy but some of the parts are impossible to get and others are very expensive. Be sure you can get all the components you need before you dive in.

John,

Link below identifies differences between front suspension for drums and discs.

Looks like a pretty straight forward conversion, as the suspension is generally the same and everything is "bolt on".

Listers,
Am considering converting my 1955 TR2 to front disc brakes. Have read in forums what some folks have done. I could not see a one best way. Does anyone have a “cookbook recipe” of the parts needed, procedures, etc. for a reliable conversion? I know this is asking a lot and any suggestions are appreciated.
