I'm just the driver. John Linney is the guy with the camera, and the editing system, who posted the video and added the comments below it on YouTube.
While I don't think it's anything special, that long boom arm which was about 5 feet long with mounting attachments, basic black, I do think he bought it with the camera but I'm not sure.
One thing that was interesting about it, the brackets were staggered length, so it made sure the camera wasn't straight up. It was out to the side of the car allowing for that shot straight down and you could see the whole car. I'm guessing, but I think the pole was at about a 15 degree angle out to the side of the car.

The camera is an Insta360 ONE R According to the description from Rye.
Rye, is that a special pole designed for use with the camera or just a broom handle ?. I’m wondering how does the software take out the pole unless it is a special pole (color ?) that the software can recognize.

Very nifty, looks like a drone is flying along with him. What is the name of this camera?

John Linney, one of the guys in the Triumph Travelers Sports Car Club, wanted to try out a new camera last week which records 360 degrees in all directions, meaning not only front to back, but to the sky and straight down.
He mounted a 5-6 foot pole to the side of my roll bar with the camera on top, and somehow the software stitches the front and back facing videos together, it erases the pole! If you look closely you can see the mount on the side the roll bar, but that's it. Amazing technology.
Ideally watch this on your laptop, with the speakers up loud for the music that goes with this video.
