[TR] Clear/Amber Fog

I've seen pro rally cars with tons of lights. They need them with some pointed straight ahead and others pointed to either side since they spend a lot of time sideways. But these are not exactly street-legal.

Years ago, my cousin told me that in Colorado you could only have up to a certain total number of headlight and auxilary lights on the front of the car. So, he had one fog and one driving light to not go over the limit. He did a lot of driving for his job, so I believe it was accurate. Whether it is still true and enforced is another question.

Seriously, I figure it is for having one of each because one needs one or the other from time to time and there isn't enough room for two of each.

Every now and then I see a picture of a car sporting one clear and one amber fog light. Is there any reasoning for this setup?
