[TR] Cockpit capping

I’ve done one set in each medium. Takes good hands to pull everything smooth and into place without wrinkles.

Having a space heater nearby to warm the pieces, leather or vinyl, before laying them on makes it much easier. Geo had a nice buck that he used for the doglegs, held everything in place.

Start in the middle and work out to the ends. The toughest part I found was closing the ends of the door caps to insert the chrome plugs.

Good luck,
Bill

Hey all ~

Has anyone redone their cockpit capping, replacing the vinyl or leather pieces
that go around the TR2/TR3 cockpit?
