[TR] TR3 tachometer

 Is the ground wire attached?  My TR3 had a flickering light due to sporadic grounding though the tack cable.  Once I attached the black wire it worked fine.

Hope someone can explain this:  Installed TR3 tach and speedo in my TR2.  The speedo lights up just fine, but the tach does not “light up”, even with a flashlight shinning down the socket.  Lights are working.  The old TR2 tach does “light up” when checked. Wanted to bounce it off The List before I go further.
