Robert-

There is a bridge under repair in Houston (I-10 Baytown bridge) which may delay you a bit but traffic is not blocked.  Traffic shares one side of the bridge (2 lanes) while the other two are being repaired after barge damage from the recent tropical storm.  Sorry don't know enough details to know if it is something to avoid.
