[TR] Spotted in La Jolla last month -- exactly *what* did I spot, though?

Looks to me like an aspiring AC. Probably a well built kit car. Lots of them in the U.K. but often with Ford V6 or Rover/Buick V8 powerplants

Sent using a heliograph recovered from Great great Uncle Willie’s tent in a field adjoining the Battle of the Little Bighorn of 1876. Great great Uncle Willie was on holiday at the time and went over to complain about the noise, but some bugger shot him!
