Not exactly.  The company's main divisions--aerospace, automotive and
credit reporting--were sold off at various times over the past twenty
years.  TRW bought LucasVarity, then sold off the division, LucasDiesel,
to Delphi and Lucas Aerospace to Goodrich.  In 2002, Northrop Grumman
took TRW in a hostile takeover.  The automotive assets of TRW and
LucasVarity were then sold to the investment fund, the Blackstone Group,
as TRW Automotive.  The credit reporting division was spun off as
Experion, while the Blackstone Group eventually sold TRW Automotive to ZF.

So, technically, what's left of LucasVarity is now German-owned, and TRW
is no more.

Cheers, John.
