[TR] - original Lucas Sports coil; was Puzzled by simple things...

 I've never been the least inclined to purchase a current Lucas "Sports" coil, but that's primarily because it looks nothing like a "real" Lucas Sports coil. You know, that red end with the screw-in HT lead, etc. Fortunately, I have a couple of those, one of which did its job very well in my old ex-SCCA GP cum autocross Spitfire 4 in the 1980s and 1990s!

Anyone know what those original Sports coils put out?

I had a lucas sport coil and a spark indicator showed spark then the new coil was insanely brighter.     I do wonder if the lucas one from the major vendors is just plain crap😊 personal opinion.
