I will add big projects can be a little daunting if you think too much about them and all the work involved, or you can stress out about self imposed deadlines that aren't met.  Dave's subject line says a lot.  If you just set the goal of working on it a bit at a time, an hour or two a day as many days a week as you can, eventually things get done.
