[TR] keeping triumphs in family

we are getting older and wondering about what to do to keep triumphs in the family.  specifically.........I think in IOwa the rules are that once in a nursing home you pay out of private funds untill you run out of money then go on title 19.  medicaid.  
If only one of you go in you keep your house and one vehicle and $2,500.  In other words you must get rid of most of your assets.  I'm not sure how serious they would be about making you sell triumphs.  I'm thinking of changing the titles to my son's.  then keep paying the insurance and upkeep and driving them myself.  (i think the state checks out all your transactions back 5 yrs).
anyway has anyone else been through this?  any suggestions or opinions?
