I suppose you could use a clamp on the brake hose at the rear axle and see
if you now have no brakes.

Perhaps a better idea would be to jack up the front and try to move a front
wheel after an assistant has lightly applied the brakes (even very slight
braking should make it impossible to move a whee by hand).

I assume you have looked for leakage - particularly leakage on a front disc.
