No relay but there is adjustment underneath the cover, held on by the single center screw. Set up a way to blow the horn from the engine bay, a remote starter switch or helper behind the wheel work well for this.

The horns on my TR3 are less than useless, giving out this embarrassing thrush-like warble like I'm taking revenge on some meathead driver who just swerved into my lane to cut me off by tweeting at him/her.

Take that, you poo-poo head!

I might just as well stick out my tongue at them. Makes the same amount of noise....

So, I have solid ground and good current going to the horns. I seem to remember having to tune similar horns on my old MGB 45 years ago but can't remember if these are set up the same. And I can't remember if there's a relay in the horn circuit for a TR3. Since it's freezing in the garage here in New Hampshire, I'm too lazy to dig out my electrical diagram there.

Thoughts, anyone?
