While your story, and some of the responses sharing similar experiences  have been humorous, you are one lucky dude, especially given your allergies.About 20 years ago, the Treasurer of our local Triumph club was on his riding mower when he encountered a bees nest.  He never made it back to the house.Hope you are feeling better.
