In theory, yes. Getting it to slide off is a struggle. After soaking heating and repeating, once you get it to move a little I’d work over the accelerator shaft with a piece of scotchbrite.

Hello all;

Can item 20, the bushing on the pedal shaft, be moved off the shaft? The
piece isn't available from Moss and doesn't seem to want to budge. Not
sure how else to replace the nylon accelerator bearings... Yes, I have
already removed the bush-to-shaft pin (item 21). I'm currently soaking it
in Aerokroil in hopes... It's not a complex piece; not sure why Moss doesn't
stock it (or even list a part number for it!), if I mangle it while trying to
remove it...
