[TR] TR4

My copy of Original Triumph TR4/4A/5/6 states that the switch from metal to
wood was TR4 to TR4a. it does state that the paint, the center instrument
groupings both changed, and the instruments changed.

Spa White was replaced by New White at CT 21267; it does not say (or I can't
find) where the center section was changed from polished metal to black
crackle finish; flat glass instruments started at CT11307

What is your CT number? I have a pretty early car - CT 9683. Although the
engine and auxiliaries are heavily modified, the instruments and dash seem
pretty original although there are a bunch of weird holes in the dash. When
I got it the dpo had put wood applique on the dash - pretty funny. So I do
have to repaint the dash but I'm just not excited about pulling all that
apart.

So the Austin-Healey fell through so I stayed with the marque and bought a
TR4. Can never have too many TRs!

Question: what production numbers cover the period for the painted white
dash of the early TR4 ?

Thanks in advance,

Three TR3s, a TR250 and now a TR4
