Thanks for the great response everyone!
The sway bar was designed to fit a small mouth TR-3 with the bumper installed as original. The way it works is the "radiator guard" that is the steel cross member that is normally bolted to the chassis just under the radiator is unbolted and moved forward to the very front of the chassis frame rails. This requires drilling 4 holes in the chassis rails. The "radiator guard is then bolted in place in that location and becomes the mounting point for the bar to the chassis. The end of the bar each have two bends in them so that they will not foul the tires when they are at full lock. The end links attach to brackets that are bolted to the two outer bolts that hold the lower front control arm forgings to the lower spring pan. This allows the end links to connect to the lower control arms very close to the tires so that the sway bar have very good leverage on the suspension and chassis which makes it much more effective than other setups I have seen including the factory optional setup. Not much ground clearance is lost. The 7/8" bar really does make a substantial difference in the handling, even with an otherwise stock suspension and normal road tires. The link bushings that come in the kit are polyurethane and all mounting brackets are included.
Until we receive the new production run of bars I cannot be certain of the price but it should be somewhere around $325.00 plus shipping.
We will include fitting instructions and some picture of the installed bar assembly.
We do not plan on producing any other diameter bars as this size works really well.
