[TR] LSD oil

Valvoline Synpower seemed to work well in my GM plate type LSD. Many gear oils need a friction modifier additive, but Valvoline claims the Synpower does not.
I could still feel a certain amount of stick-slip when backing up in a turn, but I'm told that is normal.
I've also heard that most LSDs don't last very long, but mine was still working with over 250,000 miles on it.
The axle eventually failed (a long messy story filled with inferior replacement parts and incompetent/dishonest mechanics) but I don't believe the oil had anything to do with that.
