[TR] Battery tray removal?

What's the best (or at least a good) way to remove the old, rotted battery tray from a GT6? It appears to be spotwelded, with the two upright braces spotwelded on top of the tray. I assume they come off as well.And then, putting the new one on. I don't have a long-arm spot welder in my toolbox.TIADave H   69 GT6
