[TR] anyone recognize this?

Looks like an adjuster of some sort.  I'd say headlights but looks too small for a TR3.   Had a parts box that came with a TR3 not too long ago, had a convertible top front hold-down clip for a '62 Vette, go figure.

The end on the right is a slotted screw head and there is a spring in the middle.  The left side is a small nut with 3 flanges.
