Okay – A little too chilly and snowy to take the cars out. They are resting upstairs in the shop with several old tractors until warmer weather. Both have pacemakers attached to batteries on a regular basis. About 12” of snow came through here on Thursday. More predicted for tomorrow.

Subject: [TR] Friday, February 10 - Drive Your Triumph Day

Below is a reminder email I've sent to Triumph clubs around the world to drive their Triumph Friday. I've heard back from several clubs planning to participate, not only from around the US, but also around the world such as South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Finland and of course the UK.

Last year from those subscribed to this list, I received photos from around the US: from Florida to Arizona, California to Portland to the North East of a TR6 tucked under a cover in a garage for the winter.

So please get out there Friday and drive your Triumph somewhere, anywhere, rain or shine, and if it's not running, or tucked away for the winter, take a photo of it in your garage.

It's that time - Drive Your Triumph Day is coming up Friday, February 10th. Please encourage everyone to drive their Triumph and take a photo. Go for a drive on a country road or out to lunch, to the market, to work, where ever. Go for a drive alone, with a spouse, buddy, child, grandchild or pet dog, maybe with a few other Triumphs; then take a photo. The photo is mainly of the car, ideally in front a cool spot, landmark, scenic view or even in front the market or hardware store.

If you are in a part of the world that is deep in winter snow and salty roads, please take the time to take a photo of your car in the garage tucked in for the winter, or up on stands as you work on projects getting it ready for spring.

What ever the situation with your car, take a photo on Friday, February 10th, include your name and where you are, year and model of your car, and send it to me at <mailto:driveyourtriumphday at gmail.com> driveyourtriumphday at gmail.com

I’m looking forward to getting lots of photos which will be published in The Vintage Triumph Registry magazine.
