[TR] Holes? Badges?

[CFM-TR]

I have seen rally mirrors mounted there but the holes seem a bit small.  Think it is too wide and too close to the stanchion for the british flag badge.

I had one like that, drilled it to 1/4" and put a rubber plug in it for future use.
