Indeed.  It was Renault's response to the VW beetle.  Rear engine (water cooled), 36 HP.  the later "sports" models had four-wheel disc brakes, 5 speed and an Abarth tuned engine with 45 HP!

    I saw an Ebay ad for a junker Renault 4 missing engine and a wheel. In thebackground is an old red tourer with the top down. Can someone identify what itis? I suspect British. It has semaphores.
