[TR] Identify what I thought was a boot cover

It is definitely a hardtop boot cover.  This is the type that is used to cover the soft top when the hardtop is on the car.  It snaps on inside the hardtop.
CRAIG - It does appear that some of the snaps are on upside down.  They should all be "button side up" on the color side.

Definitely not a hard top boot cover which is shown at the link below. The 
pocket on that type of boot cover is very obvious. My guess is that the 
owner didn't want to remove the boot cover to use a tonneau cover. The 
tonneau cover would snap to the male snaps installed on the boot cover..... 
but that's just a guess

Looks like a hardtop boot cover. It was an accessory; there is a picture in 
the old TRF parts manual.  I have it in black.  You leave the soft top in 
place (removing the back part from the deck) and use this to cover it up. 
The extra flap attaches to the snaps on the back of the hardtop deck. If 
that is what this is I have not seen one in a few years.
