[TR] TR3 Cam Bearings

      Reasons for not using a TR3 block in an early Morgan Flat Rad +4:
1. The car's VIN is the engine block number. If you change engines there is no way to verify VINs.
2. While a TR3 block fits under the hood of the Morgan, the dual SU's will not, unless you cut the hood (bonnet) so the carbs stick out the side. They sell a scoop panel to cover then, but I think that it looks like hell. My hood has never been cut (a rarity).
3. Early Morgans with matching engine numbers are becoming more rare and desirable.

Why did you go this route and not just use a TR3 block?  Mike Buonanduci may have the bearings you are looking for.  I know he is on a road trip right now and does not have a cell phone. Subject: [TR] TR3 Cam Bearings       I am preparing to pull TR3 cam bearings into a Standard Vanguard block that has been line-bored to take replaceable cam bearings. On one engine I rebuilt in the past I got AE brand cam bearings from TRF. The last ones I have bought from TRF and Moss were either County or Glacier brand and they were made in India.
