As some of you may remember I had some issues with Grant oil control rings.  I dropped the pan, pulled the pistons and installed a complete set of Hastings rings on my 87.5mm big bore pistons.  The oil control ring is SO much more logically designed and it all went together perfectly.  

Got done last night and today took a 100 mile loop north on Skyline Road from Los Gatos with views east to the San Franciso Bay, and to the west of the Pacific Ocean.  Then a great twisty road down through La Honda to the coast, then south on HWY 1 towards Santa Cruz.  Fantastic day with Dixie Dog as my co-pilot.  Car ran perfectly.
