[TR] Whats it worth?

Well closer than the coasts to me, but still since I don't need it or have it in the budget right now and it is a days drive away I am out, if I was ever in.
Good luck with deciding what to do with it. Anybody need a couple engine blocks? (TR6)

The one on E-bay looked like a good deal. Should have been worth that compared to $4500 for new one.
I think its all about timing. Someone in your area needs to need one.
I wouldn't buy one unless I could see it, or have someone I trust say its good.

I mentioned to Mr. Janssen that I might be interested and where was it located, but I got no response, so maybe he has moved on to other interests. But agree it is pretty dependent on local demand. There was one on the local CL a couple years ago for a long time at an asking price of a few hundred dollars.

This "straightened and strengthened" one didn't sell on eBay for $1250, so I'm
guessing that's an upper limit:

Since shipping is a pain, it really depends on whether someone local wants to
come and get it.
In about 1999 I sold one (with a very slightly bent corner) for $100.

Any ideas on what an '71 powder coated TR6 frame in good condition would be
worth - other than the obvious $40 per ton?
