Dave, I have had a local machine shop lighten my TR6 and Healey 100 flywheels, probably won't get as light as aluminum, but they took an appreciable amount off, how much depends on how the flywheel is made--but anyway, about $70 dollars both times, but I am fortunate to have a local shop run by competent "old timers" who know what they are doing and charge reasonable prices.
