 For whatever it's worth, Lucas catalogues tell me that the model 24D4, p/n 40795A was used on "later" 1962 TR3As. The DM2, p/n 40698A or B, was used 1959 and 1960. 1957-58 saw a DM2, p/n 40480A.

List:  what is a “correct” distributor for a TR3A: I have a couple here: one marked DM2, 40698A, and  the other 25D, 40795A.  Does it really matter?
