[TR] Triumph 10. Spitfire. Engines the same?

Joe, the heads should interchange. Back when I used to be on the FoT list,
someone there told me that some racers (or autocrossers? It was a long time
ago, and I can't find the e-mail) used to like to use the early 948cc
twin-carb Herald cylinder head on the 1147cc Spitfire engine. That particular
head would have different valves and springs and higher compression than the
head on the 10 engine, which in turn was almost identical to the single-carb
948cc Herald sedan engine.

*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er, Triumph
Herald engine with wings.

Triumph list:

Need help.

Is the Standard 10 engine the same as the Spitfire.

Specifically, the head?

Thanks!
