[TR] Tr3a. Where does this wire go?

In the process of installing a new harness  Things are going well, but I have
one wire behind the dash that has me stumped.  Original harness has one green
wire that goes to the fuel gauge.  The new harness has that wire, but it has a
pigtail on it.  I don't find this on any of the diagrams I have.  Where does
this go?  Wondering if it has something to do with the wiper motor.  My
original had the two green wires and the new has just one.
