Perhaps because, like me, you drove one.  Only thing I liked about it was
that my summer job was building Torqueflites and if you drove a Chrysler
product you got to park in the lot near the entrance.

Chevies & Fords had to park in the back 40, furrin' cars could not be safely
parked anywhere.
