I had three TR6's in 69, 70 and 71. One (the '70) was a cancelled US spec order. All were brand new, factory fresh and all had black plastic snaps on black tops. Almost all the snaps broke (as usual) in the first year and I replaced them with metal ones. The TR250 had black snaps unless the top or tonneau was white. Jonmac
