[TR] Christmas presents

I did quite well!

I got pnuematic tools - a 3 inch cutting wheel  and a right angle die
grinder! - I got a powder coating gun - just need to find a big *ss oven.
 I also got a rear view mirror for the TR2.

Since my wife loves jewelry - she got me bling for the TR2 - a new TR2
emblem for the cowl.   It was a super gift -   I'm not overly happy with
the finish - the chrome (for lack of a better word) seems a bit wavy. but
from 5 feet or so - looks just great. (if anyone gets closer than 10 ft to
my car - there will be plenty of things to look at!).

Before I take it back - can folks with tr4 through tr2 emblem experience
contact me off list (I'm not looking to start a flame throwing debate) -
and let me know who provided great emblems  - If my wife got it from the
best folks - there is little need to return....

Ohhhh!  I also had a friend give me 4 TR2 hubcaps with center emblems - 2
are enamel and 2 are raised - maybe these are TR4 versions. One of my
hubcaps for the TR2 was a bit rusty so this is awesome.  I am keeping the
best two and giving the other two to friends to hang in their garages (or
use).

The goal is to have the TR2 ready for the 2012 Triumph Club of the
Carolinas Gathering at Shelton Vineyards near Mt. Pilot NC on April 13th!!!
My club does this show and we invite all British Marques and load up the
vineyard with cars. .Blueridge mouniain tours and auction on Friday, Show
on Saturday and Autocross on Sunday morning.

I also plan on driving the TR2 down to Atlanta for the Mitty later in
April,.  I have a lot of work to do - I wish my wife gave me 4 hour
coupons!!!
