If the cut-out switches are correct and do their job... nothing.

If they do not work for some reason and the OD is truly engaged in
reverse... expensive things will likely break.

If it were me I would be tempted to install a toggle switch or such to
easily & completely disable the power to the OD solenoid when a novice
driver was at the wheel.
