Should be fine, although it's been many years since I tried it.  Make sure
they are tight, though, as clearance to the rear fender brace is limited.
If they get just a little bit loose, they are apt to take out that brace.
After initial installation, drive 10 or 20 feet and tighten them; then drive
a few blocks and check them again.
