Same here, out and at the top, but I had to lay a light coat of contact
cement to keep it in place.

Out toward the channel, and seam at the top.
That's the way I was told seems to work fine on my 3A.
Also I didn't use any glue to hold the seal in place, once it's pushed into
the channel it pretty much stayed there.
