Thanks.  I too have an old top (46 years old) with the rear window out
but it is falling apart.  I use it on long trips and almost never use
the good top.

I called my usual local upholstery guy and he said he couldn't do it
(which I took to mean he didn't want to).

I did check the price of rear window plastic from our local wholesaler
and that stuff is not expensive... I may try to do something with a
piece of that and some velcro since all I really need is a way to
close it up in the unlikely event of rain.
